Starting your day off with a beautiful Morning Ritual cacao instead of coffee can really help to support your body. High in antioxidants and minerals, ceremonial cacao also increases energy and helps with a clearer more creative head.

The Morning Ritual cacao is grown in the valley of Chazuta, San Martin region of Peru. It is planted, harvested, fermented, dried and milled using delicate methods with love by Family Casa Qoya Peru, which is a small enterprise working to bring you the best and highest quality cacao. By supporting them you are supporting the organic production of cacao in Amazonas and the conscience respect for the earth, 100% ethical and sustainable.

Each package of cacao has different tones, because it is totally organic and unique. Smooth white areas are the natural crystals and cacao butter. Keep your cacao in a cool, dry, dark place. Refrigeration is not required.

INGREDIENTS:

Pure: Only 100% pure native organic cacao (Theobroma cacao)

Turmeric, Cinnamon & Ginger: 100% pure native organic cacao (Theobroma cacao) infused with turmeric, cinnamon and ginger. The spices are added to the cacao when the ceremonial cacao is created, so it is not a powder but looks exactly the same as the pure ceremonial cacao.

Macambo: 75% pure native organic cacao & 25% Macambo bean.
Macambo (white cacao) is a rare bean very similar to the cacao and grows amongst the cacao trees. Macambo is more of a creamy cashew flavour, however their pod looks very similar to the cacao pod. Macambo is great for brain health and mental wellness. Both beans are picked, fermented and dried and melted together to form a ceremonial cacao with a little extra magic. 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

You will need: 20g of ceremonial cacao, 200ml of plant based milk or water (cow or soy will stop your body absorbing mineral) and any tonic herbs, medicinal mushrooms or sweetener of choice

Ways to create:

1. Add your ingredients to a small saucepan and whisk over a low heat until melted and blended. Make sure not to boil, as this will reduce the natural minerals available in this beautiful plant medicine, and make it bitter. 

2. Add your ingredients to a heat safe blender (use boiled water or heated plant based milk) and blend for 30 seconds. 

3. Milk frothers also make it easy; just put all your ingredients in, turn onto 75 degrees and let it run until ready. 

4. Thermomix - place all ingredients in Thermomix. 4 min on 80 degrees on speed 1. Finish by running at speed 7 for 20seconds.
